Pong is one of the first computer games that ever created, this simple “tennis like” game features two paddles and a ball, the goal is to defeat your opponent by being the first one to gain10 point, a player gets a point once the opponent misses a ball. The game can be played with two human players, or one player against a computer controlled the paddle. The game was originally developed by Allan Alcorn and released in 1972 by Atari corporations. Soon, Pong became a huge success and became the first commercially successful game.

Software required to run this project pong

  • Pycharm
  • IDLE
  • Notepad++ or any you are familiar too.

After you run this project you will see the output. The output looks like a black rectangular box inside it you will see a red ball. The rectangular box is divided into two part as it is a multiplayer game. In each part of the rectangular box, you see two paddles. The paddle can be controlled using the Up, down, W, S buttons. If you are playing with your friend, you can choose Up, Down button as your control and your opponent chooses W and S to move the paddle. If you miss the ball, your opponent will score. Things you need to remember:

  1. You must install python 2.7 or python 3.
  2. And you must install python libraries like pygame.
  3. Pygame let you use graphics and make your project be more attractive.
