Simple Online Airline-Reservation-System done by using VB
Visual Basic .NET (VB . NET) is a multi-paradigm, object-oriented programming language, implemented in the dot NET Framework. Microsoft launched VB.NET in 2002 as the successor to its original Visual Basic language. Microsoft’s integrated development environment (IDE) for developing in Visual Basic .NET language is Visual Studio.
Most Visual Studio editions are commercial; the only exceptions are Visual Studio Express and Visual Studio Community, which are freeware. In addition, the .NET Framework SDK includes a freeware command-line compiler called vbc.exe. Mono also includes a command-line VB.NET compiler.
The following project is an Online Airline reservation system which is done by using virtual studio and MS Access. The virtual studio is used to make the GUI form and the function and the MS Access is used to keep the data. The following project is the sample of how the real program is like. It have the same kind of features in the real system. The system includes different features like reservation, cancel reservation, flight information, printing tickets, saving the customer info and schedule of the flights.
Firstly in the main menu you can find all the option said above. You can choose any option and start the system. In the reservation display you can find flight detail, flight date and proper detail about the customer. In the schedule section you can enter new schedule of the flight by entering their information. You can also get the print form of the ticket using this system. Also in the cancel section you can enter the given blank fields to delete the reservation.
The things you need to install to run this project are
- You need to install Visual Studio as IDE to run this project.
- You need to have knowledge about vb. Net, C# and android programming language
- then You need to have SQL server management studio.
- the user also need to have MS Access for the database
